Jaded
I sit here in the broke light,
watching shadows on the wall.
Wonder what would be like,
If we had made a different call.
We could've been anything,
but we chose the hardest way.
I dream of who I use to be,
In the light of a different day.
The ultimate self control.
I controlled it all away.
All I was was someone else,
Now I'm broken and astray.
These shadow they follow me,
they make it so hard to live.
To survive is such a challange,
when you give all you can give.
