Jaded

I sit here in the broke light,
watching shadows on the wall.
Wonder what would be like,
If we had made a different call.

We could've been anything,
but we chose the hardest way.
I dream of who I use to be,
In the light of a different day.

The ultimate self control.
I controlled it all away.
All I was was someone else,
Now I'm broken and astray.

These shadow they follow me,
they make it so hard to live.
To survive is such a challange,
when you give all you can give.

Karen, self control is kinda of hard for most.. the sad part is when we react on it.. over all the negitive expieriance flowing in us... filling us with anger and we ignore the fact that we are under disillusionment... nice poem, and life is a hard challeange to give,,, enjoyed,..p.d.
