Jack 31
When the world is your enemy but you thought it was your mate
When your mind is scrambled and you can’t think straight
Not able to see clear and the world is hazy
Sometimes gets even darker and becomes a little crazy
Thinking too much can make it hard to survive
When your brain tells you two and two are five
Even when it’s obvious the answer is four
Can’t tell what is right or real anymore
Sometimes random things enter my mind
Words neither deep nor meant to be unkind
Conflicting emotions are often the way
When your heart rules the mind it can betray
Life at times can be confusing
Plain simple truths we are refusing
Sometimes not knowing what to dismiss or believe
Our own life tapestry is what we weave
