I had to go and look this up....I had never heard of these and I don't know why because they are so beautiful. it seems like it blooms in the fall? and has fern like leaves. I am in GA and I guess they can't take the humidity or clay soil. thanks for educating me!

Every April here they begin to bloom and sometimes early March. Artist on side of road can't resist to paint. Thanks.
