I'Ve Missed You Dearly
I've Missed You Dearly

I've missed you dearly my good friends
This reason why to you I send
I'll know that you have missed me too
With a comment or like from you
I have been down but not so bad
Simple surgeries I have had
Did not hurt my brain or hand
But stopped my playing in the band
Instructions given for my care
Were not to bend or walk the stair
Not to get down on my knees
No concentration for the keys
This my attempt my tale to tell
So much better almost well
Good enough to write this verse
Grateful that it was not worse
I'm quitting now this tome to end
Hope it finds you well my friend
That you have all you need and more
Good health good fortune at your door
