I'Ve Learned To Live Through All the Pain

I've lived a month with this cursed flare,
I can hardly remember when it wasn't there
Back in the days when I had not a care
I've lived a month with this cursed flare.

When it first came, I felt alone,
I couldn't get out of bed at home
the diagnosis then I was shown,
I knew now why I was laying prone.

Lupus is a terrible disease
I've asked the Lord to rid me please,
It hurts so bad to even sneeze
Yes Lupus is a terrible disease.

I've learned to live through all the pain,
Now that I know it has a name,
There is no-one for me to blame
So, I've learned to live through all the pain.

Charmaine Chircop March 2, 2010 at 1:09 PM Mr Pickett,I'm so happy you are back,to provide us with your wonderful poetry..I'm so sad you are suffering from this disease..Your joints must be aching,but don't give up..There are remedies for everything..Use ginger spice and tumeric with your foog,and drink plenty of green tea.They're natural anti inflammatories...and next step pray,and we will pray with you,May God ease your pain dear.Welcome back,with the two Pickett's here,what can go wrong?:) Charma ginger ,tumeric and drink green tea
