I'Ve Known

I've walked thru fire and didn't get burned
I've known my share of pain
But the day you took your love away
It left a permanent stain

I've known my share of loneliness
It's even took my breath
But when you turned your back on me
I often pray for death

I've known my share of betrayal
But none like this before
You've left me feeling empty
My heart, don't beat anymore

I've known my share of heartache
But this is something new
This time my heart stays broken
There's nothing I can do

I've known my share of emptiness
Lost without a prayer
I feel so used and hopeless
Cause you're no longer there
