The world sure ain’t what she used to be
Hard to know just where to place your trust.
A world-wide shortage of integrity
But put your faith in me, you won’t go bust!
Bullets flying everywhere, you feel under attack!
I got your six, brother! I got your back!
Lost out in the darkness but I’ll get you back on track!

And life can sure seem crazy nowadays.
With bad news hitting hard from every side.
It’s hard to make it through, but there are ways.
Just stick with me, I’ll be your faithful guide !
They’re getting in your face and they’re starting to talk smack!

The burden’s getting heavy but I’ll help you tote your pack!

These are the times that try a good man’s soul.
It seems so many want to drag you down.
You fear that you may never reach your goal.
But I can get you home both safe and sound!
You need to find a win but the odds against are stacked!
