I've Forgotten You

Whenever a soul mentions your name
I can assure you, it doesn't spark a flame
When you trail off like contrails in the sky
You're so far gone; invisible in my mind's eye

I think this is a great little verse you took from the longer one. What a poetic way to say "I do not miss you when you're gone!" Congrats on the winners' list.

This is beautifully done. Proof that we can get over people who leave us.
