I'Ve Discovered
I've discovered I'm still an insomniac
and that most nights I don't dream
I've discovered that my morning coffee
without you still tastes the same
I've discovered my cell phone battery
lasts longer than it ever used to
I've discovered that the moon still rises
and most days the sky is still blue
I've discovered that once my mind
has swept away all of the debris
I've discovered it was as I thought
I needed you but you didn't need me
