It's Your Life

The horizon is and will be
The furthest distance of your sight.
Between here and there is the quest
The journey we call our life.

Your unprepared unsuspecting
Mind is unable to perceive
Your challenges your task at hand
And all you are meant to achieve.

As long as you make yourself proud,
Are the person you want to be.
Care for those you bring to your life
And your responsibilities.

There is no judge or jury to
Validate all you did and do.
The only person qualified
For you to answer to, is you.

Great rhyme! I love the flow of words but I think we will give account of our life to a supreme being God… it’s more than your life… Keep your poetry pens dancing to the drum beat of your dreams… great you! Leke
