It's Too Precious To Lose

Weren't we given
a chance after another to build
a strong foundation?
Being too skeptical was weird.

t's too precious to lose
each dream, we put great passion
into it to feel the sensation
that comes from two
captivated by love...
staring into each other's eyes
and reach for those patches of blue.
It's too precious to lose
each dream that kept us
wise and alive;
now, there are no struggles,
no test drive.

We didn't expect rewards;
what was in store for us
was many surprises;
did we believe in that promise?
Did we draw plans
with cleverness?
Did we miss that chance
at promising happiness?
Did we regret bitterness?
It's too precious to lose all,
blown away by foolishness!
