It's Time

There was a star, shining so bright
Stood out more then the rest
The Messiah was about to be born
In a stable, as a special guest

The Shepherds were watching sheep
When a choir of Angels appeared
They caused such a freight
That it caused them to fear

They told them how the Messiah
Had now been born, not far away
Was sent to this earth, for you and me
They headed to the stable, where He stay

Three wise men travelled from afar
Three gifts they had saved for Him
Were taken along to offer, too
Their compass was the shining star

They gathered around Baby Jesus
Where in the manger He lay
Celebrating with Mary and Joseph
right on that Xmas Day
