It's time

I hear the watch.. Tick tock.. Tick tock in my ear
Trying to figure out why time makes me fear
Maybe its cause im scared of the future., the unknown
Or maybe its just time to accept im a queen and go sit on my thrown
Feeling numb day in and day out
By now I must know that thats not what life  is all about
Its not just heartache and pain
There's light in this darkness and umbrellas for the rain
Smiles and laughter is all I want
No one can tell me without a doubt 
That I am not strong and vigorous
That i can feel the thorns but still smell the rose
So today I am smiling, and putting on my crown knowing I'm a queen 
.... And then it's time to strike a pose

I can feel the angst in your words and these kind of conditions can be so difficult to deal with... Poetry is a great way to deal with them.. a perfect catharsis to express what we supress.. Welcome to poetry soup..
