It's Time

i sink, i swim
i think and i sin
the audience has gathered
it's time

i've stood, i've run
i've waited, now i'm done
i'm on centerstage
 and it's time

i laud, i hail
i snicker, then i exhale
no more need to feign surrender
it's time

i stand, and all at once
i give no warning and i pounce
i say, barely whispering
it's time
