It’s the only thing I could
If all that life is, is hope
Then it’s time to say goodbye.
To hope for a time of hope
Can never just get by.
If light is always moving
Then my chasing may be real,
And if healing is always removing
Then to hell with all that “feel”
If surviving the today
Is only to live for the morrow
Then go, go away
Numb in expired sorrow
If “better” is reason not to die
And the ere is no reaching “good”
Then don’t tell me not to cry-
It’s the only thing I could…
