It's the Internet

It's the internet they say!
You can do anything you wish!
Like swim in a pond
With some dangerous fish.

Or something more subtle
Like killing your friends
In a game that that makes you forget about
Your half-eaten quiche

Or maybe you can
Start a little troll war
When the person you're 'fighting'
Is your best friend after all.

Or maybe just make
A really interesting clip
That your cat would start dancing
Over you biting your lip

Or, you know, because everyone hates money,
It doesn't matter!
Just give it to someone acting funny.

Then I close my computer
I'm done with the net
It's a place fun of nonsense
There's no fun about that!

Then, suddenly, I hear my favourite music in the background.
And I think
But the internet isn't done with me

I need to log back on to Spotify.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Have a blessed New Year.
