It's the Heart

It's not the walls,
It's not the floors.
It's not the windows,
It's not the doors.

It's not the end -
But it's a start...
Because it's not the structure,
It's the heart!

Heni, this reminds me of two women who wanted to hold on to a house more than they wanted to hold on to their families. When they finally let go, they were both happier.

Wow! You really understood my poem! This was written about a school that everyone had to leave to move to a new location and other building and everyone was so broken up about it. This poem came to me as I was listening to a gathering of everyone talking about how sad it will be to leave this place they had been in for years.
