It's Over, Said, and Done
You've let a good thing go
because of your materialistic ways,
Now things in your life are spinning out of control
troubled are now your nights and your days.
You've let a good thing pass you by
because you wanted to be "Mr. Big Stuff",
Now yo're sitting around with second thoughts on your mind
because you've realized you've lost my love.
Now you're about to get married
and start your life with another,
At this time you should be happy
because you've got yourself a brand new lover.
You made the choice to move on suddenly
without giving me one single thought,
There's no way you can ever come back to me
because this is your lost.
There's no need to turn back now
keep on by your merry way,
There's no sense in feeling guilty and down
there's nothing more left to say.
Chances and chances I had given you
but you seemed to not even care,
All along I was being your fool
but at that time it was hard for me to be aware.
It's too late to try to even run
you've made things this way,
It's over, said , and done
things between us will never be okay.
