It's Our Anniversary Barbara

It's Our Anniversary Barbara

It's our anniversary Barbara
Six and forty years the score
I loved you when we married
Now I love you even more

You may think that is impossible
I assure you that it's not
The love we share together
Is something very few have got

I'm so glad we found each other
God was looking from above
Told Cupid, “shoot the arrow”
Give those two a little shove

Cupid notched the arrow
Pulled the string and let it fly
The path was true into my heart
Thank God it wasn't in my eye

Maybe it was
They say love's blind
If so I hope I never see
And pray there's six and forty more
On this earth for you and me

If that doesn't happen
In the promised land we'll be
And I'll thank the Lord in person
For sending you to me

With all my love,
Frank
