It's Okay

It's okay
if I'm not skinny enough for you to see my ribs.
It's okay
if I can't sing with a perfect pitch 100% of the time.
It's okay
if I can't be perfect all the time.
It's okay
if i don't look like a porcelain doll.
It's okay
if I spend my nights crying myself to sleep.
It's okay
if I roam from place to place, looking for where I belong.
It's okay
if I don't say I love you right away.
It's okay
if I break things off for my own good.
It's okay
if I cry and wish I could take it all back.
It's okay
if I don't hear from you for months, or even years.
It's okay
if my inbox stays empty because you can't realize this.
And it's okay
that it's taken me this long to realize
you're not the one for me.
