It's OK
The writhing when you realize
The life you have learned to love
Is dialing down to it's demise
And You know there's no god above.
If you could do it all again,
Make your life like you know you could.
Could you make your life come to reign
Over death and it's likelihood?
Do beings really die at all?
Does consciousness define your lives?
Your body now in a free fall
Sliced up by chemical knives.
You share your essence with the rest.
Blind watchmaker's everywhere.
When one past version fails the test
Time's hands see the best way to share.
All was one and now one is all
And all will be one now once more
The waves of life rise up then fall
On evolution's rocky shore.
