It's Not Easy

I slit my wrist
To ease the pain
Its not easy
Feeling this way

You don't know
You don't understand
You never will
I don't need your hand

I try to hide it
Hide it from you
Easing the pain
Why hurt you too

It's all this pain
The reason why
Every night
I lay and cry

I slit my wrist
To ease the pain
It's not easy
Feeling this way

Nobody cares
I'm all alone
I'm torn apart
My hearts a stone

You walk by
You don't see
All this pain
I hold within me

A fake smile
Upon my face
To hide the pain
All in one place

I slit my wrist
To ease the pain
It's not easy
Feeling this way

You don't know
You never will
I pray to God
Myself to kill

I'd take anything
Shots to pills
To ease the pain
That I feel still

I'd give anything
World, Heart, and Soul
Even my life
To not feel alone

I slit my wrist
To ease the pain
It's not easy
Living this way
