It’s Not All About You
It’s not all about you
And when you understand this
The Spirit can use you
Not one opportunity miss.
It’s not all about you
But rather about our Lord above
You are a tool of service
He equips with His Love.
Because it’s not all about you
Don’t reject what is asked
For God will equip you
To handle the task.
He’ll give you the ability
He’ll show you His love
Just be willing to work
For your good Lord above.
If it’s scary at first
Because you’ve never done it before
He’ll have you soon enjoying the work
For the good Lord you adore
When you step out in faith
No longer scary as at the start
But with passion and mission
That comes from the heart.
Just be yourself
That’s all He asks
Don’t try to be a somebody
In your Lord just bask.
He will work through you each day
As long as you’re willing
Reaching souls once lost
That now the Holy Spirit is filling.
