Its Never Too Late

ITS NEVER TOO LATE You’ve inspired me to share with the world. The pains I’ve longed to hide By convincing me I'm not alone and hope to others it would provide By making me realize why, I have always analyzed my fears By writing down my feelings as I wiped away my tears The only time I would share my thoughts were If it was an experience we shared Cause that seemed to be the only time that anybody cared Way too young to realize I was never really alone Just didn’t have the knowledge of things I've since been shown We often drift off the path in which we need to stay But only for a moments time for lessons learned this way Then we’re guided back onto the track that we thought we knew But it looks so unfamiliar now that we have a clearer view Everyone is different there are no two the same Although you are beside me my friend our differences remain So if I were asked to share ONE thing I’ve learned from life so far I’d probably say… “ it’s NEVER too late to be who you REALLY ARE ” Jackie VanWagner/AUGUST 2018
