Listen to poem:

It's Me - One Two Three

One me stands steady, quiet and free,
a single mantra hum, a one-note plea.
Life moves smooth with one voice to appease,
one urge to answer, one heart to please.

Then a second me bursts in to shout,
“Hey—what about me?” it barrels out.
Two hands now fight, wrenching hard at the wheel,
a tug-of-war ensues that no truce can ever seal.

Then a third me shows up with a restless claim,
that split-shares the peace, with defiant trident flame.
A tragedy of commons, endless in dispute—
three ways straining, destructive in pursuit.
