It's Like I'M Not Even Here...

Taking time for oneself is an option
An option that we all deserve
Taking time for oneself is desirous
Desirous because of the needed sanity, however,

Don't let that desire for sanity become a crutch
A crutch leaned upon too hard
Hard enough to create enough pressure
Pressure that will surely become a weight

Something of this magnitude
Any magnitude can
Can surely prove to have an effect
This effect is one in regards to those around you

Speaking for how I feel
I feel as though this
This thing called love
Love that was supposed to be true
Was truly nothing more then sand in an hour glass time piece

You crashed then smashed what we had just because
Because it didn't fulfill your materialistic desires
Desires that you felt could be made to come true
Your true desires you allowed someone else to tap into

Now it's all said and done
Done like you seem to be with me
Leaving me with a broken heart
A heart that loved deep and hard

No justifiable explanation given
You gave your posterior instead
Instead of manning up and confronting me head-on
Head-on would've at least allowed me to better understand

In the end, you just chose to walk away
Walk away like I never existed
