It's In the Way of Your Eyes
Thinking back to Red Foxx, always grabbing his heart
I'm coming to see you Elizabeth: then my mind wanders
Visions of someone jumping upon my bicycle cart as I, am in a dumpster ?
Searching for cans suddenly we hear them as, jumping out I begin to chase Joey....
Down an alley until, my old child's own heart, begins to burn while gasping for breath
Falling unto his knees the sun, caressing my cheeks; David Bowie's, it's in the way of my eyes
Plans for everyone striking chords muttled voices blurry, silhouettes a distant siren wails; pavement
Cold yet warm the pillow she's gone while, baby smiles; one last glimpse sparkling, gossamer wings her sparrow.
