It's Here!!

It woke me so tenderely
The sun broke through my window
So unassuming but intent on being free

From such a long winter
The rays of spring time born
Wake up the very heart and soul of me

I leap to my feet
No more dark days
The alarm is now a welcome song

I unfurl in the springs toddler feet
Its early days
But I know she can't go wrong

She is adament
In her freshness
Her willing to bring light to the day

I spring to life
Like a newborn
I love her tender way

Flowers are blooming
And the sun is beginning to shine
Everyone is smiling and feeling her awe

Spring time is winters baby
Summers warm up act
A beautiful show to adore...

Jo, having the alarm go off after the sun has risen is one of the best things about summer. Living in darkness is not for me, and spring brings us such beauty. Beautifully written!
