Its Gettin So Hard

Its gettin so hard to climb this mountain
my heart overflowin like a fountain
these trials keep comin faster and faster
with things that keep turnin into disasters

It feels so cold out here
Im standin in da rain
no room for me out here
these trials killin my brain

Im not tryin to please nobody I cant please
But still I got to keep pushin till he set me free
I know dis aint the way that life supposed to be
and im askin him to help me with the things I cant see

When storms keep a stormin
The trials keep a comin
When winds keep a blowin
My heart overflowin

There are days when things will get better, and those days will be greater. I like the essence of the poem and the flow of the theme. Great job! ~Joseph

Eric, Sometimes life's trials seem unbearable and we start to think like Job. So think> this, too, shall pass. (Sometimes, it has to be thought in plural.) God bless you through your trials. There are people who care. Sometimes you don't even know from where. But relief comes just in the nick of time. (By the way, did you happen to pray for patience or wisdom....A trial overload certainly follows and teaches those two attributes. ) Keep writing. And welcome to Poetry Soup. Love, Dane
