It's Coming
My head is tired
My body is failing fast
I try so hard to come first
But know my place is last
So frightened so scared
Curled like a child without her teddy
Just when I think its over
It starts again and I'm not ready
Battling hard everyday
Who will win, it or me
I try to stand up
Yet all the while its laughing at me
Sees the one thing I hold dear
Uses it to hurt me to the core
'You may love him
But I will keep you as you were before'
'One step forward
I will come right in'
'To destroy the happiness you think you have
Your type sink, they never swim'
'I will take your self respect
Make you feel so low'
'Everytime you look in the mirror
You will be looking at a horror show'
'I will dip your toes in happiness
Make you feel secure and free'
'Set the alarm to ring like hell
So you wake up and know its me being me'
'To remind you this happiness is momentary
And just when you think I have gone'
'I will emerge even stronger
To bring you down where you belong'
'I will wake you in your sleep
With an anxiety to take a knife'
'And there will be no other option
Than to cut me from your life'
'As the blood pours
Again I have won'
'Then laugh to myself
What a fool you are, my job here is done'..
