It's Been Awhile
It's been awhile
since I've been here,
with all my friends
I hold so dear,
Yes this past year
has thrown a loop,
kept me away
from writing the soup,
My book almost done
on to Bob for another,
To Brick and to Bill
How will it end, yet I wonder,
I'll find more time
for Poetry song,
Maybe this year
I won't be away for so long.
