It's All I Can Do
I have called I’ve pleaded I’ve even written
Yet you’ve never conceded and were even smitten
I showed you every aspect and neglected no detail
But in your continual neglect all my attempts fail
No matter what I’ve done or how hard I tried
You would only turn and run in seeking a place to hide
Every time I would follow and try to seek you out
But it has all rung hollow as you are still filled with doubt
But even as I walk away I do not leave you behind
For I still pray that one day it’s the Lord you will find
I am asking you for nothing and expecting the same
But when the final bell does ring that will be such shame
Walk in peace my dear friend as we now part ways
For there shall be no end to my Godly praise
I’ve done all I can do for you as it is not for me to understand
Why can’t you just see what is true as His Mercy is so grand
Psalms 86:13
For great is thy mercy toward me:
and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell.
