It's a Date

IT’S A DATE
I tried an on-line dating site to find a perfect mate. I wasn’t getting younger, soon it would be too late. I’d met with half a dozen but none of them seemed right But I’d had great expectations of the one I met last night. I sat there in the restaurant and watched as she drew near. Alas, it was the woman that I’d divorced last year. 16th March 2022 Bitesize Poem No. 40 contest Sponsor Line Gauthier

Congratulations on your win. A lovely write. There is a song about this. Can't remember the title. Sometimes we do not know what we have until we don't have it. A few friends have married the same person twice. Have a blessed day/weekend..................
