Itchy Feet

I have a bee in my bonnet A fly up my nose A flea in my ear And tinnitus toes I've just read the news, In the paper today It gave me the blues, So I threw it away I cannot comprehend The news that I saw When will we see the end Of these treacherous wars The people in Ukraine They are bearing up well. The degradation and pain Suffering would be like a living hell. The courage and fortitude That these people have shown It has made me feel ashamed To have the audacity to moan.

It isn't that Russia does not have enough land, only that Putin is not bright enough to understand he should welcome all the Ukrainians who want to be Russian into Russia, thereby making both countries a better place for people to live. Aloha!

There doesn't seem to be an end in sight, Deb. With Christmas not too far away when so many people in the world have not got a roof over their heads or money for food. It is all so unfair.

Agreed. 100%. My wife is from Ukraine -- and it was pretty bad before the war -- no heat in apartments in winter... no fresh vegetables in most stores, etc. And that was before the war... Zelenskyy for President of the USA. Run that faker Biden and that Giggle-puss Harris out on the first rail out of town!

It must be tough for you and your wife, Gershon, to have experienced these circumstances before the war and see things get worse instead of better. My heart goes out to everyone who has lived in Ukraine or had relatives there. I hate fighting, especially when the other party does not want to fight a needless insurrection, All because some crazy narcissist intends to possess a piece of land that doesn't belong to him!!!
