It Will Not Be In Vain

It will not be in vain!
All that I’ve passed through, the pain!
All the cold nights and hot candles that I’ve burnt,
Through the understanding and misunderstandings of all that I’ve learnt,
Even the canes that I’ve received,
And the success that I’ve always believed,
All the teachers that have caned me as if they were insane,
Not because of something they wanted to gain,
But for the respect that in future I’ll attain,
Through all that I’ve learnt not to be, Profane!
Forcing so hard not to become a mediocre,
But hoping to become somebody in future,
All the nights that I made my mind take flight,
Studying as if never again will I ever see daylight,
All the grades that were horrible,
All the fears that led me to the temple,
All the days that I prayed on my knees,
For money to pay my school fees,
The day shall come when my face will always brighten up!
The day that I’ll be at the Apex point, always up!
The day when I’ll never cease to thank You!
The day when I’ll always say Father I praise You!
With You everything will be alright,
With You I’ll always have focus, never lose foresight,
With every muscle and flesh in me, with all my might,
With every little bit of my being; I’ll look unto God’s light,
I’ll press on and go even higher,
I’ll never surrender, Never Say Never!
Since You understand my agony, My Pain,
All that I’ve been through will never be in Vain!
