It Wasn'T For Your Pretty Eyes

It wasn’t for your pretty eyes
I tried to reach not you, my honey,
The cruel world was telling lies
It doesn’t lie today, it’s funny.

Your eyes are mirrors and I look
I am afraid dream will be broken
Deceit me, read me like a book,
Glance. I do not want be woken.

I am admired with eyes, but don’t…
Don’t make me know that you can see it
I will be prey of their bond
Till world is still alive and vivid.
