It Was Christ Who Chose Me

It Was Christ Who Chose Me!

It was Christ who chose me!  
I didn’t choose him!
He reached out and 
 rescued me from sin!

It was Christ that first loved me, 
and little did I know…
How someone like him could 
bring love to my soul!

It was Christ who called and gave an invitation…
Through his word…  
He offers the gift of salvation!

It was Christ who came and 
blessed me throughout…
He is what true living
 and hope is all about!

It was Christ who came and brought me healing!
His goodness in my life,
 he’s daily revealing!

It was I who accepted him into
 my life and heart…
For my broken life… He’s given 
 a “NEW start!”

 I am so blessed to know he is here!
I will keep his promises in my heart… 
Ever so near!

 I am so thankful for
 everything he’s done!
He is the alpha and omega!  
The anointed one!
