It Was a Good Morning Until

It was a good morning until...
We bid you ado and you were on your way,
This would be a wonderful day.
Bags all packed and map marked out,
"See you next week ," we all did shout.

It was a good morning until...
The call came that fateful night.
You're not coming home, what a fright!
Life was about to change at seven.
I don't recall his map marked "Heaven".

it was a good morning until...
We meet once more, and we will!

I am sorry for your loss. It's awful when some one leaves so shockingly fast like that, hard on those left behind with just the memories.

Such sadness but so warming to read the concluding lines of hope. John
