It Was A Christmas Of Long Ago

It was a Christmas of oh! long ago
pine trees were dappled with frozen snow
it was a time when Noels were chimed
alongside ladders of life, still unclimbed

It was a season of pure delightement
without technologies bombardment
a moment of grace a time of quietude
filled with the Spirit of Yuletide's exude.

Dear Vie, What a warm nostalgic look at the world of Christmas without all the glitz and glamour. I loved your rhymes! I always think it would be great to getaway to the mountains without any tech around during this season. Merry Christmas, My Dear Friend, Daniel

Happy memories Vie, doubt if they'll be like that again too commercialised now, the stores have been pushing sales since October. Shame too that many haven't a clue what Christmas actually means. Wishing you and your family a very happy Christmas and good health and happiness in the new year. Tom

Yes the true meaning of Christmas we need to dig deep for it these days. So much hype for one day that should be reserved for reflection, thanks for reading Tom, Have a Blessed Christmas, filled with God's light and peace
