There were only ten days left 'til Christmas She only had nine dollars left to spend Only eight Christmas ornaments were hung There were only seven gifts left to buy One for six children and one for herself And there were five shooters that came to play Killing four of the bright and happy sous All it took was three cold guns and cold hearts And now there were only two children left And she had only one dollar to spend
