It Seems We've Gone Astray

Across the sprawling hills at a place called Arlington. A gentle place where dreams and hopes still live on and on. It's where gentle wind blows down across the way, It fills those marbled halls and there they will stay. In those walls where dreams became reality, In these halls a group of people made this country united and free.. A perfect union dedicated to freedom and equality . A group of people from all walks of life. Gathered in complete unity. Yet today those words seem to have lost their way, It seems they somehow have gone a stray. Those fine men on that hill across the way, Sit and wonder is there one who can show them the Error of their ways. Is there no one who shares the hopes, the dreams and the Need for unity, Is there not one among you who still believes in the words united and free Louise Riveiro -Mitchell @March 2024 Sent from my iPhone
