It Scares Me
it is getting to hot inside this skin
too cramped inside this small box
the one you let me fall down in
my thoughts are contradicting
and you leave me curious and wondering
you warned me not to get attached
and got mad when i was careful
told me you had fallin in love
the question now is when will you break me?
i really did try not to get attached to you
you being the way you are
growing out of your clothes
too soon, they still dragged on the ground
the truth is though i love you too
that scares me
i can only fall into your arms so long
without slipping through them
i can only be careful so much
it wont be long till i stumble over you
it scares me to know you love me
and i love you too
to know i am an open book
and you always carry a lighter
will you catch me on fire?
does that scare you?
because it scares me
