It never rains But it pours, Is an old proverb That still endures. For: When you’ve a leak in your roof And your buckets for drips are ready, Why do the heavens always open And the rain never fall steady? A breakdown always happens At the very worst place and time, Nature and the elements conspiring To ensure we earn our place – At the finishing line.
