It May Seem Strange

It may seem strange,
how a leaf grows,
turns brown and dies,
but seasons change.

It may seem strange,
how a caterpillar crawls,
forms a cocoon, ends up a butterfly,
but animals change.

it may seem strange,
how the sky rolls in grey,
grows dark, clouds move out, sun moves in,
blown by the winds of change.

It may seem strange,
how days go to months,
months go to years.
Yesterday is forgotten, tommorrow is unknown,
but time is always in change.

In the middle of all this one thing has remained the same.
Wether it was in the past, present, or that which is to come.
The word of God has yet to change,
the power is there for us to,
renew our minds, our attitudes, and our ways.
People continue to lie, to cheat, and to sin.
What really is strange?
Is how human nature can't seem to change!
