It Is Well With My Soul

Like a chorus sung in deep spirits,
It is well with my soul
For a minute, i think you mean it, you
wouldn't date me even i'f i crawl
And when I think about it, it is well with
my soul.

My heart has drowned in my black blood,
Yours is free, it survived this mystery flood,
It is not fair that my love is denied,
But it is well with my soul.

I've never wished for you to make me
happy,
But only that I be the one that makes you
happy.

Go with your pride and dignity
cut and wrap with a dirty bandage to my
personality

Lead me on then change your mind,
Let my true love scatter around your
torment
Make my tears pour until there's not one
drop left
Because it is well with my soul.

Go out there and tell everybody I had a
weakness
Tell them you had the power to make me
breathless
Come witness my heart in sickness
And be proud that you broke it

It is well with my soul.
