It Is Puzzling

The philosopher had thought it through. The physicist discovered it anew. And the poet always knew That time is relative. If so, why…why do we all seek to measure The millennia and the yugas With the same empirical clock, As in a rat race, And a similar calendar, Julian, Gregorian, Vikrami or whatever, Blissfully unaware That it may be a great blunder?! — R.
