It Is Not

It is not for your physique It is not for your intelligence It is not for your charm It is not for your wealth It is not for your charisma It is not for your fantasies It is not for your energy It is not for your profundity It is not for your popularity It is not for your self esteem It is not for your compassion It is not for your ideologies It is not for your beliefs It is not for your religion That you are loved It is only when these attributes and the thousands more that drive them are stripped away that the Real you shines through the cracked mold of flesh and blood that walled you from eternity and robbed you of your Peace

Beautifully done, Yoni !! As regards my Mystery V write the V is roman numeral 5. I have written four other writes with the word Mystery. Hope this clarifies and also that you read the other IV .... smile ...

You hit the nail on the head with this one, Yoni! We place far too much priroty on charm, wealth, popularity, etc. Those who truly love us, love us unconditionally for ALL that we are! Very nice work. Only after we strip away these trappings can we really find peace. You said it well, my friend. Love, Carolyn

Wow Yoni, that was deep and very profound. I guess, then, that the only thing left is one's spirit. And it must be all of the tools that you have listed that together break down the walls to eternity and bring one back to eternal peace... a living soul. Hummmm. That's a lot to think about. This is a more than excellent poem. It touches the soul of mankind. Amazing and wonderful. Love, Dane
