It Happened On a Rainy Night

It Happened On A Rainy Night
Foggy mists engulfed the bright
When raindrops fell throughout the night
The lampposts glowed at midnights dark
When sweethearts kissed at Lover's Park

Above Lovers Lane, there hang a dimmed light
The dark park and raindrops kept them out of sight
They never felt the cold night's chill as time stood still
Forever sealed was a memory in that little park on a hill.
