It Happened On a Misty Morning

“Wettened by the mornings dew
Closely spaced where rows of roses grew
Footprints stained the cobblestone
Where my love and I had walked, alone”

I become nostalgic, whenever I think of it
Unmindful of surroundings, not even a bit
Like butterflies, in full romantic mood
There, with each other, we were glued

ahhh those precious moments we cling to...you bring a bigger point to their greater value, the aid us in clinging to love when all the world seems asunder...great poem, loved it
