It Happened On a Misty Morning
Wettened by the mornings dew
Closely spaced where rows of roses grew
Footprints stained the cobblestone
Where my love and I had walked, alone
As we walked sweetly, side by side
My teeming love, I could not hide
As I poured her with warm embrace
Her misty breath blew on my face
It happened on a misty morning collaboration poetry contest
